WhiteCat born
The WhiteCat trademark was successfully registered, and the trial production of WhiteCat-branded synthetic laundry powder was successfully launched nationwide, gaining widespread popularity across China. Additionally, the country’s first spray-drying tower capable of producing hollow spherical washing powder was constructed, marking a significant advancement in detergent manufacturing technology.

Innovation in Packaging and Market Launch
WhiteCat revolutionized China’s cleaning industry by introducing its first branded detergent and developing the country’s first washing powder paper bag packaging machine. These innovations laid the foundation for WhiteCat’s commitment to smarter, sustainable, and effective cleaning solutions.

Establishment of Shanghai WhiteCat Co., Ltd.
On January 6, Shanghai WhiteCat Co., Ltd. was officially established as a joint venture between the Shanghai Synthetic Detergent Factory and SHK Hong Kong Industries Ltd., marking the beginning of its operations.

In March, Hutchison Whampoa (China) Co., Ltd. acquired 80% of the equity in Shanghai WhiteCat (Group) Co., Ltd. to establish the Shanghai Hutchison WhiteCat Co., Ltd., marking the creation of a significant sino-foreign joint venture.
